The Young Lions had to swallow its 11th loss in 23 SLVC games as SAFFC romped to an impressive 5-0 win (with 4 goals in '67, '69, '73 & '75!!) on 10-Sep and moved back to the top of S.League 2007.
The other match on that night also ended in heavy win for the host, with Geylang beating Sengkang 4-0 and keeping its pursuit (509 points) on Tampines (510 points) in the all-time S.League Table.
With this win, SAFFC has also:
1.Overtaken Tampines (10 pts) into 2nd-place of the 2007 SLVC mini-league,
2.Steered 12 points clear of Home (198 pts) in the all-time SLVC mini-league standings,
3.Moved closer to the 700-point mark (currently it has 685) in the all-time S.League Table.
SAFFC's next game against Albirex on 13-Sep will be its 5th in 15 days, can it survive such a busy schedule? Time will tell again...
