On a day when the focus of the league centered on Woodlands' shocking walkout from its match with Tampines (more on this on earlier posts, & analysis later...), let us sit back & marvel the way SAFFC (once again) overpowered Sengkang (3-0) to the top of the table on 5-Sep, despite playing its 3rd game in 10 days...

(Poor Sengkang has now gone winless in 20 SLVC games, managed only 3 draws, 17 losses, scored 16 & let-in 60 during this miserable run...)
With this win, SAFFC has also:
1.Pulled level with Tampines (10 pts) into 2nd-place of the 2007 SLVC mini-league,
2.Steered 9 points clear of Home (198 pts) in the all-time SLVC mini-league standings,
3.Moved closer to the 700-point mark (currently it has 682) in the all-time S.League Table.
SAFFC's next game against Young Lions on 10-Sep will be its 4th in 15 days, can it survive such a busy schedule? Time will tell...
